The music is better this season, but it is usually racist and anti-Christian [censored]. Last season, we had this great song:

I don’t really notice since I’m only in the menu very briefly but [censored] to the guy who wants to toss his console out the window. I never tried but supposedly we can listen to our Apple Music through the PS5. Has anyone tried that who has it?
I do that... just set it up through the main PS5 menu, and once linked, you'll see an Apple Music icon in the control center (I think it's called that; you can just press the PS button to access it in-game).
Anyway, I kill the game's music in the options menu, and just play Apple Music when I want something other than just game sounds.
That sounds simple. I need to get around to linking my Apple Music not just for this game but other games as well.
Had my PS5 since it's release in late 2020 and didn't know it could do that lol

Not sure about 23 as I haven’t tried yet, but in 22 you could load your OWN music onto a jump/thumb drive (USB stick) and while in the game import through SETTINGS—>SOUNDS OF THE SHOW—>MANAGE MUSIC FILES—>IMPORT.
Then use the PLAYLIST EDITOR to select which music you wanted to listen to while playing the game.
Only works with the PS4 version of the game. The next gen consoles don't allow it on their native versions.
My guess is that the option is gone for good as soon as they drop PS4 support.

Dude, that song rips. I also like the Talk tune, White Reaper has a mid 2000s emo punk vibe, Metallica is solid, Tribe Called Quest is fun, The Roots, Phoenix, it’s definitely not awful. Are there a bunch of songs I don’t dig? Sure. They have been X’d out and will never play again haha.
I think it was 17 they had Whiskey Myers playing Bars Guitars and Honky Tonk Crowds. It was awesome

Now if only there was a way to turn off the dreadful batter walk up music. It's terrible and gets in the way of my Tool songs.

I can listen to any Tool song (and I do, lol). Lateralus and Sober are probably my most played, but Vicarious, Parabola, Jambi, and Schism are near the top as well. Tempes7 and Pneuma from the newest album are just melodic brilliance.
I also love me some Iron Maiden. Probably one of the best concerts I ever attended.

Completely understood lol, Pneuma is fantastic and Invincible, Decending and 7empest are also amazing. I too can easily listen to any of their albums on repeat.
I've seen Maiden live twice and I came so close to seeing Tool in 2021, had my ticket but it was canceled for obvious reasons, still waiting on them to come back.

I noticed if you turn off the music it turns off the stadium music as well?
They need to just partner with Pandora or Spotify and have it in game so you can pick your own music. I know you can run it in the background but I mean have it set up in game somehow.

There are many different types of songs. No way it appeals to everyone. But chances are someone will like something and dislike others. That is why there is a mute option.

Best song in the game is the default walk up song for joc pederson. We shazamed it and now blast it everytime he comes to the plate , it’s phenomenal

it took a great amount of skill to compile a playlist this bad mate - i have offered our label catalogue here at Sony for years which has tons of electronic music to SDS - and they have refused

Absolutely done with the Boys are back though it's a shame SDS chose that song because Thin Lizzy has some absolutely amazing songs.
To me one of the most mind boggling things about them using that song is why do they censor "the drink will flow" but they dont censor "and blood will spill"? So they won't promote drinking but they're totally cool with me and the boys beating the [censored] out of someone?
