I love how they force players to do stuff they would not normally do for a holiday event if they want to finish the program and I will say I do NOT do the online stuff. I am sure I am in the minority and some would say why even BUY the game and do DD if your not going to play online even a little but they tout how you can play how you like then force players down certain routes. I might buy a month of PS plus just to do the event but I should not be pushed into it and I find that SDS is playing kind of dirty.

A few years ago they made the effort to ensure that you could get almost everything without stepping online. Looks like they backtracked that this year

Sigh... they aren't forcing you to do anything and there is no time limit (essentially) to get this program done... having you go into different modes is actually genius... it helps with engagement and I'm sure they keep statistics and analytics on how often players go into the various game modes and this is a way to get players that might not typically play a particular game mode to test it out... it cost you NOTHING... except $10 if you don't already have PlayStation Plus for the head to head stuff, oh and another $0.99 (minimum) if you already used your FREE BR entry.

I see my point is totally getting missed by the fanboys -- but what else is new - maybe forced was not the right word used another towards the end of my original post of pushed into it is prolly the better word / phrase to use.

It's one thing to have to play a game mode. It's another to ask some of these players to WIN in each of these game modes. You've seen the posts in these forums. Some players are literally incapable of winning even a single online affair

Your point wasn't missed....it was just stupid. Maybe you can just suck it up and give it a shot or just don't do it and accept that you're not going to get every single card in the game.

See my thing is this... there is essentially no time limit... I know this is the newest thing in the game so people will feel pressure to get it done now but it doesn't have to get done now and the beauty of a lot of these is that a lot of these task stack, so for example if an Event is incorporated into a program like the WBC Event was in the WBC Program and you win a WBC Event game you also complete the egg for Events.
The only people that I can really see having an issue are the ones that don't have/want PlayStation Plus... my record isn't the greatest over the years playing Head to Head but I have my moments and I would imagine over the course of this games cycle if I play enough of each of these modes I'll pick up the win(s) I need... now if you truly have to go Flawless in BR then that one I can understand having a gripe about but I have a feeling that was just to hint at going in and playing BR.
Also more often than not you are typically matched up against someone in your same rank (atleast in Ranked), not too sure about BR.
