I primarily play offline and prefer faster play settings — no batter intro’s with music, less time between CPU pitches, etc. because I want to play the game - not watch it. If I want to watch a replay of a HR or a nice defensive play, I will make that decision. AND — when a game, a moment or Showdown round is over, I want to get started on the next one. With no doubt whatsoever, I absolutely DO NOT want to press a button to cancel replays that are repeatedly being force-fed to me.

    • After finishing a playoff game in Mini Seasons, I had to press the “A” or “B” button (XB) 8 times just to get back to the bracket screen to start the next game. E-I-G-H-T TIMES!! And that’s the minimum number of button presses since more are required if any players were upgraded after PXP was added to their card. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

    • Also related to Mini Seasons games, why are we forced to watch replays we didn’t request?! It’s constant cutscenes or replays that require even more button presses to cancel. If I want to see a replay of a HR, I should be able to press “LT” on my own just as we can in other modes. We shouldn’t be forced to watch (or cancel) a replay or cutscene we didn’t ask to see in the first place.

    • After completing a round in Showdown, why do we need to press a button to confirm the amount XP we earned, press a button again to confirm we’re moving to the next round and then press a button YET AGAIN just to add the points from the round to our total for the Showdown, etc., etc., etc.?!

As I said at the beginning, I like to play the game — not watch it. As someone who chooses faster play settings to avoid unnecessary replays and cutscenes, I have a very difficult time understanding how anyone could think this is good game design. In fact, setting faster play settings aside for a moment, who thought it was a good decision to make players press a button a MINIMUM of 8 times just to get back to the screen where the next game can be started??

This is a fantastic game! It can also be VERY annoying. If there’s any way to make changes, it would be fantastic to see a reduction of wasted time and button presses. It gets frustrating!

    Thank you.
