How to properly link MLB TS w/ PSN account

When I initially tried to link, I lost all of the progress I had made on my DD team. Is there a proper way to do this so it will link and not lose the progress?

Also wondering this.

I started on Gamepass, liked the game enough to want to buy the digital deluxe, but it won't let me pull my Xbox progress over to a digital deluxe version of the game on PSN. It just overwrites my digital deluxe stuff with the Xbox save.
