Do you get the WS badge through the rewards path in ranked?

I'm glad they made the rewards easier to get in ranked, however curious if you also get the WS Icon. Personally, I have never made WS. Mainly due to not having enough time to put in. The season is longer so I think it's more attainable.
Question is, do you also get the WS Icon through the rewards like Innings played or do you have to go through the skill side. I would prefer if you have to get it through your score as opposed to just grinding. I think this is more a less a badge of honor that should be attained by skill.

Haven't reached it yet, but they didn't last year and I doubt you can this year.
Most likely because (the WS Banner) is actually worth something: a G.O.A.T. point.

No, Making WS is the only way to get the icon. I like that they now allow anyone to get the rewards as everyone who paid for the game should be able to earn any card nomatter how good/bad they are at the game. However I also like that they have icons & banners that people can show off their accomplishments proudly as badge of honors as you put it. It’s a good system right now.
