I love the game but it’s almost unplayable and so frustrating. I use PS5 with ethernet connection. I have a few games and the only game I have an issue with is MLB The Show. Starting last year and continuing now. I can’t count how many times I get disconnected during a Conquest Game or even when completing moments.
Today was the last straw unless they get it fixed. I will not be buying next years game. I was in WBC showdown, losing 14-13 with runners on 2d and 3d with 18 outs left when I lose connection. It makes you not want to play anymore. It’s been over a year that this is happening and it’s only MLB where I experienced lost connections.
Please fix this!

Have you thought about examining your console hardware, ISP, router, or wiring? You are in the minority of this type of problem (extreme minority), so it isn't the game.
I had this problem late last year and it turned out to be my router. I traded it in for a new one and assigned my console a static IP address. I spoke with my ISP (Xfinity) and he gave me some things to do with my router (I don't remember what now, sorry) and said that I needed to wait 24 hours for their system to refresh with my new settings. That solved my problem.

Guess im in the extreme minority too. Never once have i ever had an issue until this year.
