Do Charisma players get any boosts or anything special?

I love the card art and everything but they don't seem to be like captains or anything like that. Are they just part of a collection or do they have any additional special properties?

I believe the OP is asking if these cards receive any special quirks or if any teammates receive any attribute boosts if a Charisma card is in the lineup. It would be cool if it did, but I cannot remember if SDS said anything about this during their stream.

While there should be a Charisma card captain, you can use them with a few different captains to get the boost.

Roy Halladay - East Divisions captain (pitchers from AL/NL East)

Willie Mays - 1950s/1960s captain (unlikely as its only players from the 50s/60s)

Trevor Hoffman - Relief Pitchers captain (also unlikely as its non-closers only)

Nolan Ryan - Grizzled Veterans captain (pitchers over 35)

Mike Piazza - Catchers captain (primary or secondary)
