I also think the cards will be used / needed for the mega collection. Youll want all 3 for collections. Or maybe you can collect all 3 for a big XP boost in season 2?

Not all conquests. Not all mini seasons. Both modes will also have some restrictions. We just don't know the percentage yet.

No they are not. Some conquest and some Mini Seasons will have the same set restrictions as ranked. Trust me, I have rewatched the feature premiere that first mentioned them and watched all 2 hours plus of todays stream.

Yes. But I'm pretty sure they mentioned that if a Conquest Map is released and tied due to a Program (This first one is Set 1) only those cards can be used. So if a Conquest Map, released during Season/Set 3, gives XP towards that Season; Set 1 cards won't be usable.
At least that's what I took from the stream.

There is going to be some complaints for sure come July when people realize that these cards won't be able to be used to advance programs anymore and can only be used to mindlessly grind play XP by rerunning the USA map or something.
