Is this strictly for MLB the show? Because other games don't do that. I'm not saying your logic is wrong. If that is the case midnight ET is technically the 17th lol. It shows the 16th on my PS5.

And i am talking about pre-load not when you can play the game. I understand when it releases. I am talking about pre-loading the game before it's available

Mines says 03/17/2023 Auto download, thats on the PS4.
The show is the only game I pre order, I re start the PS4 every year at midnight and the game drops. -
Okay i am talking about the digital deluxe version, which comes out 4 days early. Mine has auto download on the 16th. But i guess we will see. As long as I can play 4 days early thats really all that matters.

I guess i should clarify. The fact that i have to see it every time i login but not be able to play for another week is the suck part. Idgaf about the cover art itself.

What time zone? cause pre download is 17th at midnight eastern, if you are not east it would say the 16th( 11 pm,10pm or 9pm depending which zone)

Definitely central time zone. Which would explain the 16th lol. Well all ready than. Appreciate it fellas.

It’s downloading and it’s 9:25 pm PDT.
Edit: The game pre-loaded on my PS5. It was already pre-loaded on my Xbox. It will not pre-load on my Switch. It’s just the installer anyway. We are still due for a long download on the 23rd.

Mine downloaded in less than 10 mins while I was playing something else, gotta love the not taking an hour without doing anything else ps4 dl speed

I checked mine early this morning (7:30 am CT) and it was in the process of downloading. But I noticed it showcased the Jazz cover, and I bought the Digital Deluxe version w Jeter on the cover. Do I need to be worried that they’re downloading the wrong version?

No. Jeter is only on the steel box - nowhere else.

My 10 year old PS4 did it in 20 minutes, the 2 year old PS4 pro took an hour.

Jeter was in the library but it was Jazz after download, nothing against Jazz but I wanted Jeter.

He is only on the steel box...you won't find him anywhere else (except for his card(s) in the game.
