I think i may be the only person here who preferred the division based. Individual team grind just seemed to take forever to me.
You definitely aren't. Me and CDN are the only ones I know that prefer individual teams lol. The individual programs did take forever, and thats what was good about it imo. Quicker is better for those that don't have as much time to play but the people that play online regularly had 21s team affinity done by Saturday evening. I prefer a bit of a grind
I dont have an issue with grinding but that just seemed excessive to me. The requirements were just ridiculous and by the time you grinded your [censored] off to unlock a few of them, they were pretty much useless because the next tier started.

There is definitely a middle ground they need to hit this time around, because 20s was like you said but 21s you found yourself bored and waiting 3 months for the next TA. We'll see

I think that middle ground is really the addition of more stuff. Which we have now with storylines, mini-seasons, near weekly conquests and programs...plus ranked, MTO and co-op. The wait wont seem as long with more stuff to do i guess.
I'm looking forward to see what else they have planned though.

I would have preferred the team based had I played it in 20. I love Team Affinity but agree it was too easy to blaze through for people who play online all day and or who have their cc available.
And that was my main issue with losing it. The big gaps in content in 22. I agree it looks like that’s being addressed.

I agree that the 20 model took a long time, which at the time and under the circumstances worked out. However the grind would need to be adjusted for today's audience
