I have my game set at Simulation. If I were to change it to Competitive and play offline games at HOF and Legend, would I get better at online play?

I can beat CPU and Mini-Series teams on HOF and Legend, but when I get to online play, I’m (in most instances) lucky to get a hit.

If I were to change my mode to Competitive, would that help me adjust to the online settings better, or are the game settings still way different for online than offline?

Hard to say b4 testing. But my experience is you have to factor in the other live player's tendencies as opposed to the CPU. With that being said "All Modes" within DD will be set to competitive this year regardless if H2H or not so even vs CPU within DD will be competitive setting. If i heard it right.

It sounds like you and I need to play. I wonder if there’s mode where you and I could somehow compete and, say, once you received the cards you needed that maybe I could win some and get the ones I’d like? It would help us both get more comfortable with online and we could effectively be ‘training partners’, without any worries of having a pause-happy opponent, nor one who tries to capitalize on glitches, etc.

It might not even be possible but, if so, I would gladly honor my proposition.

Online mode...Play Friends and you can play each other online and set the game up how you want it.

We can play a friendly (against friends) but you can not earn stubs, pxp, or cards in that mode. It's just to play and have fun with a buddy.

I'm fairly certain all DD modes are set to competitive by default(including Conquest and mini seasons etc.) I could be wrong on that though because I've never used casual or simulation. All online modes are competitive default for sure though
