I think I over-flipped this year...
-
I just got the "Touch Grass" icon. I have 4.7m stubs, another 6.1m in buy orders, and a minimum of 5m in duplicate diamonds (quick sell). Plus Lord knows how many duplicate Gold's, uniforms, bats, etc. I really need to pace myself next year, instead of behaving like Tommy Boy.

I honestly flipped less then I ever had before, because margins were so good by the middle of the year, I never had to put much effort into getting a ton of stubs

I think that's what happened to me. I hardly flipped at the beginning, but then made a tremendous amount in the summer when margins were good. I was anticipating having to pay for a bunch of end game cards, but ended up earning most of them via Rewind packs.

So here's a question about flipping.
If you quick sell a card with a buy order higher than the quick sell, will the person with the highest bid get that card, or will it go back into net space from whence it came?

I probably have 15 million stubs in unopened packs alone right now.

I would hope so this is by far the easiest ultimate team game play out there they litterally give you everything you just need time that is all

Learned this lesson last year when I had over 30M stubs at end game. This year I still finished with around 7-8M and didn’t flip nearly as much, nor have I really played much last few months (I’m only around 700k in the program).
We shall see what 23 brings, but I think my high flipping days are behind me.

That's a good question. I thought there was a case where certain "sells" go into the "ether", but that is anecdotal...

I admit I am a simpleton who doesn't even really understand how to make real money in the marketplace but even I am looking at the real potential of collecting everything fairly soon with just some time and effort and I haven't put a single real dollar into the game.

Maybe you'll find this interesting about "on-line gaming economics"...

I think Ben Bernanke works there now.
I'm pretty sure this is the first-ever "economist" joke on the Forum. I'm sorry for being so "edgy".

If I could put a huge laughing head on this post, I would.

I stopped flipping in mid-July for precisely that reason. Ever since, just selling every duplicate I came across.
