My humble wish list for MLB 23
-
-
No more beaning of pitchers by batted balls. It seems to have died off, but last year and earlier I had several of those. I remember one where the pitcher was writhing on the ground in pain. That's not necessary.
-
Put a price limit on every card, especially the older cards that have been replaced by higher rated ones. Having cards under 90 with exorbitant prices is unnecessary and hurting the game. And it makes getting cards like Mantle 99 and Ohtani 99 impossible for some of us. If the goal is to play this game, should all the cards be reasonably available? We don't all have 5 million stubs all year.
-
Slow down the content a little bit. I loved all the content this year, but who has time to explore the other parts of the game with continual bombarding of content?
-
Stop charging buy-ins for showdowns. At the beginning of the season when stubs are at a premium, especially, it makes it difficult and exceptionally stressful. It shouldn't be that way. But it just not good even now. So please end that.
I do love this game. I bought it on pre-order and I've played every day with only illness taking me away from it for a day. Thanks, SDS, for all you do.

I just had one last month where I hit the pitcher right between the eyes. It happens in this game a lot more than in real life.
On the other end, they need to something about how much the CPU pitchers bean hitters. It’s ridiculous how often it happens. If a gamer were to do it as often as the CPU, they’d go through all of their pitchers in one game because they’d keep getting ejected.

I suggested this last year and got scoffed. You’d think if SDS wanted gamers to buy stubs, they’d quit making it so easy to flip the lower end cards.

Please, please, and please! The rewards aren’t that great, so there is no reason to have an entry fee. There are better rewards in conquest games.
In addition, please add a link to download a .csv file of our “owned” cards in the inventory.

I’d love to see a list of my parallels. That would be soooooo useful.

I keep a spreadsheet of my parallels, but having them as a filter in the build team section would be awesome!

PC!! that's all, can't stand playing games at 16:9.
-
Have like a quick sub option where you can manually put in up to 10-15 position players and 10-15 pitchers, it gets annoying scrolling thru pages to try and find players, I get they have filters but there has to be a way you can put the players you like rotating on the first page or 2

You might not have 5 million stubs all year but stubs are easy to come buy now so just flip

No. The game is broken enough, we don't need hackers

I'm not a casual noob, I don't need to play DD. They should make a PC version geared towards more simulation, heck make it only offline. Just allow modders to tweak it to make is super realistic with player moments and pitch speeds.

Never happen. When it comes to sports games, the days of modders are gone forever.
