    Look folks,

I am not a great player. I do not play on a computer monitor. I am totally in favor of certain pitches having unreal zip, control, movement or all of the above. However, it's just unrealistic and unenjoyable for a casual player on DD like myself to play.

I enjoy the H2H and I enjoy the variety in players chosen and faced. However, I can't be a casual player and play three games in a row vs 99 pitchers with 102 mph FB and 93 mph sliders.

I can chalk up an unbelievable 1-2 punch, maybe a 3rd kidney shot, but there has to be a solution somewhere in future years. You simply can't have a 5 man rotation of 99s that throw gas, precision, and deception. It's just not fun to always bat against an outlier.

There needs to be that game where you say, "OK, this has to be his number 4 or 5 starter. Lets go!"

I dont like to complain and I certainly lost my games fair and square tonight. But keep me clicking to play the next one, SDS.

by this time in the game cycle, players mostly have 5 solid #1 starters. Between game launch and about July/August is when you would be likely to see bigger discrepancies

Get a monitor and practice that’s the only way to get better is by practicing

Custom BP on legend with the sliders up- once you’re used to hitting outliers fastballs with those settings then trust me hitting an outlier fastball on all-star will seem like a cake walk

But again this takes practice and from what I’ve seen here most people don’t like to practice and just want to play

In Events (AS difficulty) I can sit on a location and anticipate 102 and STILL be late. Especially if it's opposite handed middle/low and in.

Part of the problem is the other player's side has lag. I faced Ryan the other night and for once I was at least guessing when he was going to throw the fastball, but he would throw the ball, I would be lined up with it, then the lag comes in and the pitch was nowhere near where I had lined up once the ball moved again.

I usually end up quitting those games because you literally have no chance.

At the end of the day, using a monitor makes a HUGE difference when it comes to seeing the ball better. It's basically mandatory to have a good monitor or good gaming tv to be able to see those frames when the pitches are coming in. There's just no way you can play The Show competivitely on a regular TV.

You can play, sure. But there will be a lot of guessing where the ball is going to go rather than seeing the ball and adjusting.
