I have only gotten one team affinity done and I want to get more but they take forever for me. I suck at showdown and MTO is way to boring. Should I just grind out the innings with the teams players? I feel by the time I get these players they will be irreverent. Any thoughts on how to get them done quicker?

You're better off doing MTO on a higher difficulty to get somewhat of a challenge. Grinding innings is NOT the move. I got the cubs regular season done in 3 hrs on HOF and got 34 pts. Otherwise, your best option is exchanges, which should cost you 5ish K per 10 pts.

^This. MTO is a grind for sure, but grinding it on a higher level like HOF makes it quicker and more rewarding, you can stack a lot of xp in a single MTO run. I try to pick a player and dedicate a day or two to an MTO grind and that usually works. If it starts to wear on you too much take a break play something else and come back to it.

Tough grind, but well worth it. That's exactly how I've been doing it too, right now I got a bunch of runs started, one game away from the rewards so when we can get past 70, I got a quick and easy 17-20 pts. Then, whenever I do get bored of it, THATS when I go for showdowns, makes it feel much easier after faster pitch speeds.

I grind out MTO on veteran and watch Netflix, Hulu, etc. It isn't fun, but it doesn't require much input on my part either.

Showdown is the quickest way, but if you have trouble then MTO is next best. I’m going after the Indians since that’s my team but other than that maybe just one or two more I’ll push for. I hate playing against the cpu so the card has to be worth it for me.. like and end game type of card

Stupid question, there is no way to access MTO from the Diamond Dynasty page right? Meaning you have to exit out to the main menu to get to MTO. I don't wanna do it and not get credit.

Another option is to Exchange players ; you need 50,000 in value to get 10 points in Team Affinity. What I like to do is to buy ~13 cards with 78 overall = >50,000 in value. Most of the time you will find 78 overall cards for which you can make buy orders for 300. So for an investment of roughly 4000 stubs, you advance in Team Affinity. At some point you even get 200 Stubs back as a reward.
I know 4000 stubs is, for some of us, a lot of stubs but I found this to be the quickest way.

yeah you can do exchanges for cheap if you find the right card. Most of these FotF are easily worth the 15-20k stubs in echanges
