Mini Seasons and a rant.

If there is a offline way to get br or WS rewards, that automatically makes grinding for them online worthless because playing the computer will always be faster. I don't like playing offline and yet I have to in order to "keep" up with collections.
Because I don’t play online I haven’t been able to finish the collections minus Brett… last year I was able to do all of the collections but this year it seems more costly for offline players

I get that, and it's not that I don't sympathize with that, but I hate playing offline and I have to in order to finish collections, and I think that's the point of collections, that only people who sort of play the whole game finish it easily, obviously that doesn't mean you have to like or agree with that outlook, that just seems to be what SDS is doing

If you play enough it is pretty easy to obtain every card in the game. Yes, I'm talking about offline only. With the exception of the latest BR I only play offline and was able to make Mantle and I have 2.9 million stubs. It can be done.

No, I despise flipping myself. I just sell what I pull from the free packs we earn playing the game. Which does take some time, but nothing like flipping over and over again.

This is a funny post. If you want to collect all of the cards you will need to play/grind all modes.
I can’t wait for your next post.

Mini Seasons needs to be looked at and improved. This game mode is so [censored] pre determined its unbelievable.
Countless times I could easily throw the cpu out on the basepads. Yet the players in the infield/outfield are [censored] nonchalant in fielding and getting the ball in quick and allowing baserunning. I'm so sick of the predetermined outcomes how it makes you play out situations where they could easily make the play.
Again this is sds messing with sliders. [censored] sick of it.
Off topic : Time to hire more people with more creative game play and ideas. Yeah your card art department is good. Now it's time to actually focus on game play, single player content and ways offline players can get online mode cards and actually a shot at the big collections. Do better SDS. I don't like play mlb the show 21 with an MLB the show 22 cover.
Do better with the market. Flipping cards, marketplace manipulation is stupid and shouldn't be in this game. It's a baseball game to play baseball.

I thought mini seasons was a great idea but just a mess implementation. overall good idea though and I enjoy playing it

SDS clearly wants everyone to play every mode, even though most players don't really enjoy some of them. I play pretty much everything except for battle royale. Ranked seasons are a mindless grind and events can be fun a few games at a time. They can shoot showdowns into the sun I hate that mode so much.

Showdowns are okay in my book. What sucked for me was the "Other" Programs. Specifically the monthly's. By the time you put all that work in for the lightning player, there's like 6+ other cards that are identical and cost you practically nothing to get
I really tried to get Alvarez lightning card but there was just WAY too much left to do to get him. I'd rather just pick any other card that is basically better than him and just go play RS.
For a game that has run it's life in less than a year...the grind needed to enjoy some of these "other programs" is laughable.
