Online play. It was the most fun I had experienced with the show....arguably ever. I did not change any settings on the xbox or the tv...just one day...I was late on pitches again. I was so early at one point when switching over from PS5 to Xbox Series S that I was too early on 100mph fastballs and whiffing before the ball got to the plate. It just makes no sense.
Input lag from your opponents. Your personal setup doesn't seem to overcome bad connectivity with the person you're playing. At least from my experience.

Would love to see that corrected down the road...maybe by 2050 lol

I have the LG C1 as well. I had a similar experience. Were you able to figure out what happened? I have tried every combination of settings known to man and can't seem to get back there. Sorry to reply to such an old topic. I was astonished to see you had the same thing happen to you

I know for a fact that most of the guys on the top of the leaderboard benefit from their connection. Not sure if it is intentional or unintentional, but the ball warps when you are hitting and an outlier fastball is a watermelon on rookie for them at the plate.

It’s the connection bro. Make sure you use port forwarding on your Xbox. Just google it and it will tell you what it is and how to set it up.

It’s not your Xbox/PS5 or your LG….it’s your opponents connection. Focus your efforts on trying to gain an advantage with your connection.

I know some people have even used bad internet intentionally as they thought it gave an advantage. Might be true.

And how do you know this? I watch multiple streamers that are top 25/50 players and they are not relying on poor internet connections to gain an advantage- they actually back out of games that feel too laggy

If that is the case you are proving my point. The bad connection theory might not be accurate, but the fact they back out when the lineup menu is laggy indicates they are keen to the connection being important.

Good connection or poor connection on their end they back out when it doesn’t seem to favor them in the lineup menu.
I also have a mini theory that the congestion from their streams favor them.
