Are we finally at that point of the game's cycle where some cards actually keep they're value?

Someone started a post the other day about the Retro Finest Rivera jumping up to 400-450K.

Most said that even though he is in a Rewind Pack; most people are picking the newer players as they're worth more.

I want that Rivera. I was going to buy him BEFORE he shot up in price.

Now I just finished the BR Program and took Kluber. I sold him for 530K after tax.

I have no use for him.

I could just outright buy Rivera and still come out ahead.

But I would hate to buy him and have him drop back down to the 300K range.

However with stubs easier to get than a loose woman's phone number; I don't see that happening for awhile.

    Any advice?

My bad. That's what I meant. You can still pick him but he's in with the other two. Yeah, I don't think he'll drop for at least another season or two. I may as well just buy him now. Nothing else to spend stubs on.

Next season he ll be in rewind and price will drop, but that is weeks away.

I'm also wondering if they will do something crazy because we are late in the game cycle. Maybe like double rewind rewards next RS. Or maybe they put RS rewards in the next mini seasons like they did BR rewards. Cost could be constant because less people playing so less supply. I say if he is the one card you really want, pull the trigger. You can't take the coins with you and might as well use him while you are still playing the game.
