So SDS... any plans to block the possibility of people quitting during a hit/hr animation or AT LEAST make it count in the stats...?? I mean, the game actually knows what the outcome is as soon as we press the button so if its a HR (especially a no-doubt HR) shouldn't it be counted in our stats...?? It kinda sucks to loose that because people just quit as soon as they know its a HR... this is a stupid childish thing to do for sure and it doesnt accomplish anything for the one who does it, so why should we get "penalyzed" for people like that...?? I get that you are not responsible for who plays and how they play, but if it's possible to do more to counter that I think it should be good to implement that...

20 years ago you could finish against the CPU if somebody quit against you playing Madden online. Why that's not a thing today for a baseball game I don't know....

I've dashboarded myself, but stats have nothing to do with it. I'm just fed up at that point. It's hit the fan and it's officially time to go. Shut it down. Adios.

There is no way to tell the difference between dashboarding and a connection issue/power outage.

But if they wanted to PENALIZE someone they would have to find out if they actually dashboarded compared to LOSING connection.

My point is not to actually penalize the player quitting but not loose stats because of that. If someone has connection issues or if wants to quit its ok I don't mind... but why should I actually loose the HR if i actually hit it....

I like the idea of letting CPU take over for the quitter ,only the quitter gets a loss no matter if the CPU wins or not. Sometimes CPU better than the human player

yes, and make the quitters stats get affected by the result. ie: you beat them 20-2 and hang 6 on their starting pitcher....those runs affect their ERA.

I won't dashboard anyone, but if it's obvious early on that I am not going to win and it's going to be a landslide I am gone. I just played a game where I coughed up the lead in the 8th and stuck around because the other guy wasn't much better than I was and I felt like I could come back I tried to win. Came up short, but at least I didn't go down 1-2-3.

    I'll dashboard if you're being a jack@$$.

Bunt dancing, holding R2, quick pausing will result in me dashboarding you.

And if you happen to hit a homerun, without having done the above things, it will stand.

But if you replay that homerun; then I'll either just quit or I'll throw you a meatball and then dashboard during that homerun.

You want to play like a [censored]; you'll get treated like a [censored].

You play straight up; we can hit homeruns all day.

Yeah I'm with you on that... If my opponent wants to play dumb, I can play dumb also... I usually don't, I just play my game, but when push comes to shove, sometimes I play that card... But the best games I had were the clean ones where me and my oponent were equality good or equally bad lol!!!

I don't play the dashboard card tho... If I'm gonna quit, I'll just do it via the menu...

If you dashboard out during a game, one of your cards will randomly be deleted. I do not see any issues with this solution. The more you dashboard, the more the percentage rises to erase a silver, gold, or diamond player. Problem Solved.

(This is satire btw, before the hate mail starts to flow)
