Hitting View Question
-
I am stuck in between Division Series and Championship Series, and all of the sudden can't hit. I know the difficulties change as you go, but was hitting very well until about 785. Anyone know of some different hitting views I should try out? I use offset now. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

I like strike zone 3

I’m in WS right now and I use MLB the show 15 . A lot of people use strike zone , just could never get used to it. Just use what’s comfortable for you

I appreciate the help! I know a lot of people say to practice, but I feel like you don't know what you can do until you're facing Newhouser as Reggie Jackson and he throws and up and in FB. Haha
-
I use strike zone 3 I tried 2 and 1 but I’m too used to it now to change

do you use zone?

Not sure what you pitch on but in the higher difficulties it helped me track the ball better throughout the game by making my pitching view and hitting view the same. You constantly track the ball watching it from both sides of the game. But you could always go to custom practice and change it to legend and mess around with some different camera angles. Strike zone 3 works best for me

Directional is no fun either. What’s the point just pressing a button ... I do swing with the analog though. Ino it’s weird but whatever

I asked because 15 has been my favorite since 15....I didn't start playing DD much until they stopped online franchise...had played with the same guys for many years.
I get ya with the analog
I just don't play enough or haven't in past to really play WS. I'm 15-3 in RS right now but still not to HOF yet. 580 something. I have a 22 month old that doesn't allow me to sit still for manyb9 inning games.

I hear you I love the view on 15. Yea that’s tough with an infant . 15-3 pretty dam good though . Soon as u get on HOF the game plays much better . Trust me it’s much better . Yea love the analog for whatever reason

Zone with analog is the funnest imo, feels like it's easier to time my seeing versus hitting a button
-
With analog? What’s that mean?

Instead of using buttons to swing, you use the right stick

@KommanderNKeef9 said in Hitting View Question:

I just flick the right analog up with I want to swing . No buttons

Last year I think I totaled 70 or 80 games all of 2019. I would get to high 700s or low 800s but would play enough really or good enough to get to WS in a few games each ranked season
