If all you care about is getting the PXP and don't care about winning then just play vs CPU on legend and pitch a complete game with your starter. If you get a shut-out even better. Pitchers rack up PXP
All CPU games are 1.0x PXP. Ranked Seasons, Events, and Battle Royale are 1.5x PXP.
XP is a different story.
Cpu games have a multiplier for pxp based on difficulty, 1.0 for rookie, 1.1 for vet, 1.2 for AS etc. its in the parallels tab on the player cards.
No. Look at the box for the multiplier.
So the 11 points per AB i was getting playing on vet instead of the 10 i was getting playing on rookie isn’t because theres a multiplier?
In a CPU game? I'm just going off what the box says and what I've done in the past.
I'll use my spreadsheet the next time I play a CPU game. I'll play on HOF and see if the points are the same as on Rookie (My spreadsheet is written for 1.0x points).
On HOF vs the cpu you should be getting 1.4 multiplier, any offline game has a multiplier. When I play on vet which is 1.1 I get 11 per AB.

I will play a game right now on HOF and put the results here.

They are all right on this one. Pxp multiplier based on difficulty. Online also gives a 1.5 multiplier along with the difficulty

Okay. I did get more playing on HOF. I received 1414 instead of 1050 PXP for the 9 inning game.
What I was going by was wrong, sorry for the erroneous post.

No worries, hope it helps if you’re doing the pxp grind

You are correct. I made an error in thinking what was on the back of the card under the Parallel tab was how it was figured out. Sorry for the erroneous post.

No worries, I just knew from experimenting with PXP earlier in the year.

So, I played another game (same two teams, location, and time) and this time being on All-Star vice Rookie. The pitching stayed relatively the same performance (3 less Ks and gave up a run (so no CGSO reward) and the PXP for Wood didn't change much (maybe less). The offensive production was slashed to the point that I got 1K less overall PXP for the 25K PXP mission and half the gameplay XP reward (11K vice 22K).
I believe it is worth it to just to stay on Rookie for these grinding mission games rather than up the level of difficulty to get the higher reward levels that only go up .1 for each higher level. Plus there's less stress playing at the lower level even though I don't stress over a video game!

Everyone that says focus on the pitcher is forgetting one thing...There's 1 pitcher for 8 position players. Let's look at a monster inning for both.
3 Strike out inning for a pitcher - 70 Points....
Every Position Player hits a HR in their AB - 320 Points... Add to that whatever your pitcher may do in his AB (Looking at you Ohtani!)When you're comparing grinding PXP for a Pitcher to a single hitter, yes pitcher will always be faster and easier...but the PXP Grind as accumulated as whole. So Load up with your best lineup, play on the difficulty you feel most comfortable torching the CPU on and start hitting Dingers!

The part you aren't figuring in here is that your 46-0 game took a lot longer to play than your game on All Star. Not saying it will equal it out the value, just something else to consider.

I could be wrong but I'm fairly certain I've been grumpy about both of these things on more than one occasion

I think they do. I got a hit with Kerry in my last CQ and I could have sworn it showed up in my PxPs. Someone feel free to call me out if I'm wrong. Just don't call me a bad name.

I’m the year 2525, if man is still alive.

Pitchers most definitely do get hitting PXP! That's a huge reason why Shohei pitcher cards get paralleled so quick!

This is definitely true. I hit shockingly good with pitchers. Any pitcher, even relievers. Maybe it's the smaller PCI, but I hit a double with Percival once and it showed at the end.
