Should be 125/125 against lefties but he was somewhat ordinary against righties.

He didn’t play in the OF and only made 6 appearances at SS so downside is he is also stuck at 3B.

Hopefully they juice him but he may be a platoon bat.

It will be sacrificing contact R for Power R from last years card basically. Let's not act like last years card was amazing vs. R either, it was only 103 contact

I think there is a chance he gets SS but definitely not LF. I think he will get maybe 105 and 105 vs righties. They kind of have to juice the card a bit or else he won't play above Brett, Devers or Riley. Chippers defense certainly wont be light out. But to me the bigger question is all about his secondary.

I can't be the only one that thinks its a dangerous precedent with all these less-than-spectacular 99s while we wait for better versions later. Just something about it, to me. Of course, I also don't like that we have several "top-tier" card types now that aren't necessarily top-tier. I liked it better when it was simpler, frankly.

I don’t think Donaldson will leave my squad. Brett isn’t movibg from 1st base either

That is also my take if and when I ever get Donaldson. I'm 2 points away from Cano and I'm getting him by PXP. Showdown hasn't been kind to me and my draft players that pop up aren't necessarily who I would pick so I'm giving it a rest.

Would be interested to see the reasoning from the SDS guys in these less than 99s. Doesn't make much sense but maybe it would if they'd explain their reasoning.

Yeah the uneducated masses likely just see that 99 number and don't even look at attributes. Keeps the casuals more engaged I guess.

Ummm...this is clearly not a Griffey situation.

    Chipper is JUICED. And 3B/SS/LF.

All 3 bosses look amazing and E Davis not so bad either for a killer speed/fielding/vs lefty bench bat.
