Finally started my Franchise/Season this week after many months of testing sliders and doing Spring Training. And its so F-ing intense when all your settings are so fine tuned and you're actually playing a game. But you gatta do it on Legend hitting and pitching with pitch speeds maxed out..basically every pitch is a grind and meaningful and how the CPU can mess and OWN your head. All you DD casuals and online gamers are totally missing out on a gem of an experience, you guys have noooo idea how good of a simulation this is. And the sad thing is a huge percentage of you will never get to experience that cause you're casual Show Players.

I can't really fathom playing single player all the time, because it doesn't make sense to me. Why did the AI hit a home run? Well because the AI decided to. And sure you can extend that to PVP to, as the game also uses RNG there, but atleast there is input and it correlates better. If a real player hits out a pitchers pitch, well they probably put a good swing on the ball, if the computer hits out a pitchers pitch, well it's because the computer decided to.

I would disagree with this 80% ish. I know when I made mistake with the CPU, I can tell my Slider didn't break the way I intended it to break and it will get hurt, especially if you're playing on Legend, now this would happen maybe 35% of the time. Meaning the CPU will take advantage and kill it for a double or a homerun. Keep in mind this is with adjust sliders that took about 60 hours to test, and with experience of adjust sliders for about 7 years of playing The Show. When settings are correct and you're playing, its as if you're watching an actual game of baseball, that's how good you can make this game, it just takes hours and hours to adjust and the majority of people don't have this much time on their hands. That's basically why I'm starting Franchise in August.

I agree the game has much merit approached in this manner .Doesnt really matter in my opinion what your settings might turn out to be as long as the game is as challenging as possible to the individual player and with reasonably realistic stat outcomes.Play of this kind should actually recieve more accolades than The Cheese League (Ranked Season) . Just like Ultimate Team ruined Madden , Ranked Cheese Season is hurting this game. I salute whoever plays the game trying to replicate BASEBALL. Long may you run.

Exactly, gaming these days are littered with casual noobs, no matter what type of sports games. Look at what happened with the Project Cars series, 1 and 2 were fairly decent Sims, but 3 is basically Need for Speed with a facelift..so casual. Newbs are taking over!! We have to stop this Tryhards!! who's with me?!!

There was a little change the that slider...Power I put to 7, Wind to 5, CPU Manager pull to 6, and Foul balls to 0 for both user and CPU. Everything else is the same I think.

Do you broadcast any games or have any data on how your franchise or season stats work out? I haven't experimented with franchise in a while. Got caught up in trying to create Online franchise mode with Custom Leagues and drifted away from franchise mode,regretfully. Although I have had some success with that project it is far from flawless to say the least. Nothing can mess up a league quicker than one too many human players.Everyone cant go 162-0. The game is good, its the human factor that is unmanageable.
