Do live series players with special Diamond cards not get a rating boost once those cards are released?
-
Selfishly asking if silver/gold live series cards that have special diamond cards are less likely to go diamond because “they already have diamond cards,” in the game.
For example, Jorge Lopez’s live series card has been stuck at a 76 rating since before the ASG break ever since his ASG and POTM diamond cards came out.
Given his continued success - ERA under 2 - ton of Ks, innings, and saves, I’m wondering why he hasn’t moved…. Again, asking very selfishly but curious.

There has not been a full roster update since before the all-star break. I think one is coming Friday.
But looking at his stats his SO/9 in August are down and his BB/9 looks to be up a little. ERA and number of saves do not count for anything.

Got it.
Is there a list of which real life stats tie into rating increases/decreases?
Is it that black and white or are there other factors that play into ratings changes?
