They need to treat it like Ranked. Where you have to play at least 3 games before you can use the same pitcher in back to back games. None of this one and done junk.

Agree with you. Events should be limited with certain cards. Every event this year is use whoever you want. It sucks the fun out of this mode.

Don't get me wrong, the rewards format for events is the best it's ever been. It's just the event restrictions themselves that blow

In my opinion the problem this year is with the Event restrictions which falls completely on SDS. They are all either use whoever you want or Moonshot, which really is use whoever you want other than pitchers. You can't expect the community to police themselves as everyone will have different approaches to how the fill their lineups, with most being the absolute best team they feel like they can put out there.

I don’t have a problem hitting him on All-Star. I won after taking Randy deep with 93 Elias Diaz lol. It’s just kind of lame. He clearly was banking on people quitting immediately when they see him because he wasn’t very good.

Yes, it’s either Randy, Sale or Bobby Miller… majority of road games will be in a setting they figured out to blend the ball with the glare and cheese you to a win

Monthly Munoz is decent, but only has a fastball and slider which can be tough if you are up against a decent opponent. I used him a few times. After that you have a gold with Sewald, and then silvers. Not many top tier options if you're playing online.

Could not agree more, anytime I see an event lineup with P5 cards it makes me dig in deeper to beat them. Lame is the word.
So that’s a bit strong from my view. Now I’m only starting my P5 Adley to balance out the roster limit of 95 (since he’s a 91) but as someone who doesn’t play Ranked I should have an opportunity (if I wanted) to play my cards Online which for me is BR or Events. I’m also one of those guys who will be having one of Ryan, Randy or Grayson on the mound (Grayson seems very funky to me out of the stretch) and then Helsley out of the pen. I rotate others but if most people struggle against Outlier then I’ll take advantage of that. If they show me they can hit it, I’ll then mix in others. But I’d be lying to say it isn’t fun to abuse people with Ryan especially. Randy is P5 for me so I only use him as a Lefty matchup guy here.

Good thing about the way rewards are done with events this year is that you don't have to play events you don't like. I do agree though that events have been pretty bad and unoriginal this year. It almost feels like they gave up on that mode this year.

Hey buddy
Just my opinion, everyone looks at it differently. But almost every guy I see using P5 cards in events are the guys who quit out after every game and throw The same pitcher again. Gaming the system and lame in my opinion again.
But everyone has to “do them”

No - I get it. You know I have nothing but respect for how you play and wish others did the same. Events are fun and I kind of like having to face mostly these Aces as it’s a fun challenge. Randy and Ryan are just on another level imo so still struggle against those dudes.

The lag and daylight has kept me from really trying this event. It’s been a struggle with half the games I’ve played in it. Which is 15-20 games.
