Card not in squad

I have a couple cards I'm trying to sell but it won't let me. Says I need to unsquad or unequip it. So I go to my squads and the card isn't in any of my squads. It's not a card that I have collected or anything. So can anybody help me?

I always see replies that says to check your events squad even if you don't play events. It apparently throws players into that squad on it's own.

Did you check your events squad? Thats usually the problem.

It will make a team for you if you don’t make one yourself. I don’t know how it happens if people don’t even play events, but I know it has happened to a bunch of people.

I don't think you can if they're in an Event lineup.
