Gameplay Patch

Said during the stream that there is no gameplay patch in the future as, how they put it, 'according to the July hitting stats; hitting is working how it is intended'.

Patching it generally makes it worse anyway. Game usually starts out feeling good and then eventually by May the patches have made it significantly worse or ruined it altogether. They need an entirely new engine.

They lied straight to our face, no way they really think hitting works well. Foul balls are as bad as ever

Their attitude toward this is pushing me back to Madden. If this is how they think the game should play, then I doubt if I'll continue playing.

They never said hitting works well. They said it is working as they intended. They want the game to work in a manner where it balances out big skill gaps. They don’t really care if gameplay is great, because their intention is for balanced gameplay.

Earlier in the year when they patched PS5 to run at 120hz hitting was incredible for a couple of days. You could turn on fastballs on either HOF or Legend but then I guess they saw that and switched something. Even though you can have everything set to 120hz, the hitting is not the same as it was for that short period.

Yeah. I honestly have firm confidence that this game will play great once they drop the old gen consoles. That won't happen now that switch is involved so either A. Give us the advantage we paid for or B. Release two separate games

SDS doesn't want to lose the casuals and xbox/switch noobs that feed the microtran$action machine, so hitting will never return to the glory days of 16 and 17
