I had a frustrating time finishing the BR program (doesn’t usually bother me as much). And then I’ve played offline past couple days and it’s worse than normal there too. Maybe I’m just not feeling it and not playing well.

I only play offline franchise, and occasionally some DD against the CPU but the hitting seems okay to me. It's not that easy, but I seem to do pretty well with it. And since I do only play offline, I have a custom hitting view that lets me see the ball very clearly as far as where I think it's going. Plus I practice hitting a lot.

The hitting is terrible because you're terrible, I know its a tough love approach but its the facts. You casuals need to practice, less hot pocket eating and card collecting and more going into the batting cages, it will come newbs, trust me...I personality have never been a newb at anything but I can understand how it can be for some.

I am a terrible hitter as well. I've tried everything for almost three years. I've watched YouTube videos, practiced, asked everything under the sun and NOTHING works for me.
This year is the worst I have ever been. I just cannot understand the zone hitting concept.
What I mean by that is, do I move the PCI AND SWING at the same time or does the PCI move to the spot first and then swing a split second later.
Also I'm so terrible at tracking pitches, everything looks like a strike.
This sucks because I played baseball for half my life, but hitting in this game doesn't seem like anything I would ever do.

@joshjays44_PSN you're a tool. If you've played this game at all this year you know hitting is broken. A fully squared up perfect perfect is an out more often then ever before and ppl can foul off 18 pitches that aren't even close to the strike zone. You saying it's then is you being a tool who probably only plays rtts

I only play rtts but I can tell you that I don’t get that many foul balls. In fact the only foul balls I hit are to the first baseman or the catcher and they are on pitches that would realistically be ten rows up in the stands. I lead the world in foul balls that the first baseman has to take two steps over the foul line to catch. And most of them are on outside borderline strikes at 97 mph. It is so unrealistic that these are foul balls that stay in play. Now I hit for a realistic average and have appropriate power numbers for my players ratings but it just amazes me how this game is so unrealistic in this aspect. I have been told I could change the sliders but why should I have to change a slider to get a realistic outcome?

Offline feels fine to me. Online, that's a different story.

Obviously you're new here cause you don't seem to know about The JoshJays. I'm not your typical player, I'm basically playing on a different stratosphere compared to most of you. I play Franchise on Legend hitting and pitching with pitch speeds maxed at 10 and matured Sliders that has been marinating for roughly 70 hours before I begin my Regular Season. The reason you are getting bad gameplay is prolly because you play online modes or DD stuff so you're basically stuck on Default Sliders. One horrendous setting that will give you bad gameplay is the Foul ball setting, this should be set at zero!, there are other settings that badly need adjustment too but the Foul ball one is a major one. I can begin to tell you other stuff that needs adjusting but I think you'd run out of hot pockets before I get finished with them.
