DO NOT HIT 250 HR’s!!!!
-
I made the mistake of hitting too many home runs and now it shows I have zero home runs. And I’m sure you’ve heard of this but if you hit 250 home runs it resets at zero. This is all new to me and I am six games from pre-postseason. Regardless of if I should play a harder level setting or not it should warn you or something. My team is horrible and I have to score all the points in driving all the RBIs. This is some major bull [censored]!

The number is 256 and It's the way computer coding works. Just one of those things I guess.

I wonder if it’s the same for K’s?

Don’t believe so unless it’s changed from last year. Could’ve sworn I beat that in a season last year... on rookie of course...

This has been a known issue for several years I believe. I'd be surprised if it ever gets changed.

257 K's is a reachable stat irl. So it's would probably not reset at 256. HR's of course it would. Because that's totally unrealistic. I seriously doubt they ever change this as it's not needed.

It is something to do with the coding. I remember that OOTP had this issue years ago and the problem was the next level caused issues in data saving space and caused other issues. They finally fixed it there but it took a while. I'm no coder at all so I cannot come close to explaining it there was a reason for it and I think it had to do with space. I can't imagine that the show would have that same issue seeing as the game is big already.
However, 256 homers in a single season is just so far out of the realm of possibility, very few people will care if it ever gets "fixed"
