I don't mind that guys make diving plays. It would be nice to see the throw meter cut in half or have some kind of adjustment so it's not such an easy throw.

Problem is, they made the players too big for the field. It's really bad and obvious.

    There's a perspective I've absolutely never considered...

It's true. Look at how quickly outfielders play caroms off walls and how infielders make relay throws that would make O'Neil Cruz blush. How outfielders take that nonchalant jog after fly outs. Everyone is 7' 7" out there, lolz.
This was a problem in NHL. Ice surfaces were cluttered with players. Irl, you don't have a lot of time and space to make plays, but you do have some time now in EASHL

    On cue.

Yeah, this has definitely made the game less enjoyable.

Honestly the players being too big for the field is the biggest reason the gameplay sucks imo. I genuinely think hitting is playing as intended but the outside factors that effect outcomes(fielders, pitching confidence, altitude etc.) makes hitting seem much worse than it is. There would be a heck of a lot more doubles if the outfielders didn't cover so much ground. The only actual problem with hitting is the foul balls. Everything else is the result of the fielders being too big and pitching confidence and altitude effecting hitting more than they should. Just my 2 cents

I made 3 of the best diving plays I’ve ever seen within 2-3 innings against a guy who was getting shut out. I almost felt bad.

I really wish SDS would nerf fielding a tad. I don’t even really care about the dives. A simple slider adjustment would do wonders.

    Fielder speed -1
    Fielder arm strength -1
    Fielder reaction -1

It’s hilarious playing the Nationals in this game with Soto in CF, Cruz in RF making insane plays every single inning.

    Gameplay this year blows. Period.

Lineout fest when hitting, superfielders all over.

    Agreed

Top spin is an issue, a big issue. If you hit a hard line it will stay up in the air for an extended period of time, it
gives so much time to any slow OF with low reaction to get there and catch it.

Yep. A line drive will stay 5 feet off the ground for 300 feet.

I hit a ball with Yordan with exit velo at 108 MPH at Red Rocks straight center and somehow the center fielder (nobody special) caught it jumping up against the wall. I hit a 450 foot out going 108 MPH. It’s a problem.

I loooooove the diving. It's awesome robbing someone of a hit. Even when it happens to me, I'm like " wtf, great play!"

The only thing worse than this is when you smash the ball and the OF stands with his back to the fence sticks his arm up and catches it.

I had Ohtani on first (good speed) and roped one down the 3rd base line with Altuve (decent speed). Freddie Freeman (not even a 3rd baseman) makes a ridiculous diving catch and gets a double play with a perfect throw from his knees.

It's out of control and really sucks the fun out of a game sometimes when no matter how well you square up the ball, you know it'll be caught.
