I did an experiment about good/good
-
Decided to keep track of my last 100 good swings, now the average for the month of may was in that .535 to .545 range. I had exactly 40 hits out of 100. So that’s a .135-.145 dip from the average, that’s if you think it’s a good sample. Really it would’ve been a lot lower if I didn’t match with players who play at coors and laughing mountain.
I also want to maintain not every good swing needs to be rewarded, but simply sharing my experience and how some things aren’t what SDS says they are.
Another thing I noticed is when you are unlucky, it gets super unlucky. The worst outcomes of this are one example where I’m playing BR and had 1 out of 9 good swings be a hit, and I didn’t get to 10 because the next good swing was a double play. My opponent only had one good swing and won the game 1-0. So when the game is t in your favor it’s extremely against you.
But I will say Perfect swings are actually not nerfed at all, you might get unlucky but I’d roughly say I’m batting over .880-.900 on perfects through that experiment.
I might continue onto 200 good swings but I truly believe I have an answer in that hood swings aren’t as good as they’re supposed stats show unless you’re in a high altitude ballpark, which that’s just how parks like coors and laughing are. But if you don’t like those ballparks you’re probably might start to use them just to be rewarded more.

It’s the streakiness that is really annoying to me. It gets pretty obvious when you have 2 perfects and a good/good for outs in an inning and then your opponent will proceed to strike out 2/3 times, that 1 time being a p/p HR.
I wish I knew what causes it.. but it’s very obvious when the game isn’t going to be in your favor. You can still win, but you’re going to have to fight and claw for it while your opponent can always seem to match your runs with worse input.

A late side of good isn’t the same as a slightly early good
-
The whole input and feedback needs an overall.
-
They need a new hitting engine and new servers they horrible. Every game is a lag fest.

I finally decided to play an event this weekend. I played 4 games (2 entries). I straight up lost 1 game and wasn't hitting very well. The lag threw off my timing, but to be expected. In the other 3 games, like clockwork, they couldn't hit me at all. Pitching is my strong suit. but the last batter, which was a sub for the pitcher in all 3 games, 1st pitch homer with the ball out of the strike zone for the win (I was the visiting team all 3 times). Has this specific situation happened to anyone else? After it happened in the last game I though, maybe if I try to play online again and this situation happens, I will just hit his sub. Thoughts???

Yeah I may use these parks now. Thanks for sharing

I noticed that the game will let your opponent back into the game until the score is tied. Then your offense will explode if you continue with good/perfect swings.

that’s if you think it’s a good sample.
It’s really not. Given that there are a billion or two swings a day, gonna need at least a million swings to have a statistically viable sample.
