What is the point of having this at all if they aren't going to let ball go to this specific region when you have a good/perfect pitch release? It seems that when you aim every pitch in the dirt, outside and away from the hitter, and instead (even with a late pitch release), it floats up an in where it can be crushed. Is using pinpoint the only way around this?

Same thing with PP this year. I haven’t used metered so I can’t say if one has it happen more than the other, but random floaters are definitely there with PP this year. Wasn’t really the case last year.

Yeah, I've seen the streamers having issues when using PP. Metered has always been the worse when it comes to accuracy. If the floaters were consistent, I would make adjustments. It's just so random that you never really know.

I sometime[censored] perfect releases on meter pitching and the ball's outer edge clips the outer edge of the PAR. So if the pitcher has a decent sized par, the ball could be half a zone away from your aiming point on a well timed release. Even if you do throw a perfect inputted pitch sometimes rng says NOPE it's pizza time

I don't know if it does this on PP but it sounds like it,it definitely does on analog- if you are off on your release timing,it changes the release point which changes where the pitch goes and the par around it. like if you aim down and in and are early, the new aim point would be more up and in with a new par from that point.
