TN/MA Moments

If one, or both, of these are going to be required to advance to the next stage/unlock a player; please program the CPU pitcher to throw some gat damm strikes!
There is no reason I should sit there and not have ONE SINGLE pitch thrown anywhere near the strike zone!
And there is no reason I should be on my 20th attempt at the 2 XBH Moment with Lightning Rice because out of the last 19 attempts; I had maybe 5-6 total pitches at which I could possibly swing the bat without having to attempt a foul off to extend the AB past 4 pitches.

Just failed the 20th attempt.
24 pitches thrown. 23 OUTSIDE the strike zone. 1 inside the strike zone.

Maybe if you quit talking to yourself in this forum, maybe you would see the strikes thrown and be able to finish the moment like everyone else has!

How many of those did you swing at.
I play exclusively against the CPU. I have done all of the Topps Now, Monthly Program Moments. I have never seen that kind of ball/strike ratio.
It seems to me that when you are down in the count the CPU is going to try and get you to chase and throw outside the zone. If you let those go and get ahead in the count then you will see more strikes. Occasionally I will still get walked but 23/24 balls just seems unbelievable unless you swing at everything.

Every AB started out with 3 pitches outside the zone to make it a 3-0 count. Then I had to swing to try to make contact.
Also, I should've mentioned that I classify a pitch outside the zone that I foul off a ball because if I didn't swing at it; it would've classified it as a walk.
And none of the ones that were thrown outside the zone were anywhere near the edges.
I finally completed it but then moved onto the Altuve one and when the pitcher for that Moment threw his first two pitches outside the zone I just shut off the game.
I'll deal with it later. I haven't played in a few days because it was happening before and I'm in no hurry to finish the program.

It took me like 30 minutes to complete the Goldschmidt one last month. All you had to was hit a HR. I was just roping doubles and my perfects were dying at the track. Hardly ever got out, just took forever to get a HR even when getting under the ball.

Amazing how this really only happens to you.

Not just me.

Not just him indeed. Although I think he's exaggerating. Rookie difficulty this year has been altered. Last year on rookie the cpu threw in the zone way more. Just facts. This affects moments too. I think it's a terrible change. Who grinds or plays on rookie to focus??? C'mon now.
That being said, I did complete the Rice moment first try, but it's largely luck depending on whether the cpu will throw you anything worth hitting.
SDS: If it's rookie, throw a cookie. FFS.
