Never a fan of this Future Stars program. Maybe if the overalls were lower, like 90-93, this would sit better with me. And then there's usually maybe 1 or 2 cards that are miles above every other card and everyone will use those until replaced (Edward Cabrera, Nick Lodolo, and a few other pitchers will probably ring some bells), but the idea of having a Future Star 95 overall card with similar or better attributes than MVP Reggie Jackson, for who you have to make WS instead of obtaining for free in a program, just seems weird to me for more than 1 reason. Not a fan.

I agree, and the attributes are based on potential not actual - I agree that Cabrera card was a nightmare - I also think 99's are headed our way real soon - Brett is kicking it off

Yeah and not to mention that probably 25 out of these 30 cards will be item binder fillers. It also clutters up diamond round draft picks in BR which I also do not like.

Didn't think of that the BR factor

I agree about the attributes, then I have a love/hate relationship with it because the card art is such fire.
Anyways, good to have you back bro!

Yeah I don't want this Cubs Center Fielder with 100+ contact and elite defense but swing a wet noodle to show up as 1 of my 2 diamond picks for example.

Appreciate you, I'd prefer posting under my normal usertag but it seems that the moderator boys aren't quite ready yet.

I have felt the same way about these cards ever since they started showing up in the game. They never proved themselves on a Big League level and yet they have better cards than some guys in the HOF.

Maybe if they just did the top five or ten ranked prospects it would be better

Yeah I liked the Wander Franco thing.

I'm all for it for the guys that like it. Just not for me. I did get that 97 SS for the Giants that came out last year but it was free and I collect Giants. Never did use him though. He was a paperweight in my inventory.

So maybe I don't understand the concept behind this program. Joey Bart is the Giants card but he has already played in the Bigs and has been on the Giants 40 man roster 2 or 3 years now behind Posey.
