How can we still not count innings correctly

I understand bugs when it comes to play. But statistical bugs shouldn’t be a thing.
If I play a complete 9 inning game in ranked season, it shouldn’t say on the game summary “Play 8 Innings.” It also shouldn’t only award me for 7 of those innings.
It’s little [censored] like that which is annoying me the most about this game. If you don’t want to count wins towards goals, fine. But get the [censored] innings correct.

It’s a big issue if they don’t count right. Especially for players trying to get 400 innings.

I was the away team. Think I lost on a walk off, can’t recall after playing events all day. But either way, only for credit for 7 innings.
