Does this game have a comeback feature?
-
[censored] happens. Phillies blew a 6 run lead in 9th a week or 2 ago.
-
Nope we need more threads just continue whining here

Judging by your game history, you are exaggerating. But I do appreciate the more measured post after seeing your last one before it got deleted.

Guardians down 2 bottom of 9th and 2R HR to tie it vs my Reds comeback code confirmed
-
It’s rigged you can tell every game plays different
-
Sandlin gets the first out in top of the 10th then walks 3 straight batters to walk in a run all the while not getting the call on a couple borderline pitches. Comeback code confirmed 5-4 Reds in top 10 then strikes out the next two batters while getting a couple borderline pitches
-
Choking isn’t a comeback feature. It’s just a user that needs to get better

Nope it’s clearly their exceptional coding, knowing who’s playing and when
-
Wild pitch by Diaz runner from second breaks to third and looks like he can go home as ball kicks away, but rolls into dugout and runner must go back to third. Comeback code adverted
-
Diaz walks the next two batters to face Ramirez with bases loaded two outs……..
-
Diaz strikes out Ramirez to end the game. Reds win 5-4 and on cue Brantley states “you know why people love baseball”…. “It’s unscripted”

I agree with this.
There are too many inconsistencies with regard to outcomes. A perfect/perfect pitch could end up a foot away from the possible location outcome. A perfect/perfect hit could be a groundout while a very early swing on a ball on the inside corner could be a home run. RNG will always be a part of the game, but I feel year by year the importance of skill becomes less relevant.
I get they want to make the game competitive, but they should do more than pitch speed differential to separate skill levels. I feel like they should make a game mode where RNG has very little influence over outcomes. I understand that some might think that would make the game more monotonous, but to me, it would be more fair and consistent.
I also wish SDS could explain the hitting and pitching engine a bit better. I believe that would add a lot of clarity for the community.

No matter how much I’m up or down I can always come back or lose a lead. Am I the only one that has been thru this? Having a huge lead blown due to the game trying to make the other team come back, regardless if you’re the one coming back? I just wanted to know if I’m the only one or not that this happens to.
Yep it's called everybody need love and get rewarded with not even trying to .... kind of a nintendo mentality where everybody will succeed have a trophy and smile with mom dad brothers sisters ( the clean version not the PrnHub one ) so throw your smiles up and start share your wins you degenerate selfish human being !

Must have been a glitch in script, I don't know why the script to let you win 31 in a row malfunctioned.

How can someone “get better” and not “choke” when you do what this game tells you to do to succeed and you do that and you lose? For people saying “that’s baseball” . Mlb the show is a game and real life is real life . Mlb the show gameplay is connected animations and literally code scripting, real life baseball isn’t. In real life you may get a boarder line pitch called or not but in this if they say in a certain mode you get 10/10 border line pitch’s called a strike it’s should be called a strike and not a ball, and when It is called a ball it isn’t called being bad, chocking, or “it’s baseball”. I really wanted to know if this game had a come back feature, bc comebacks happens way to often that me or my opponent . I’m 71-5. All 71 of my wins weren’t bc I was doing so well or hitting so great and pitch like an ace every game. Tbh some of those games I didnt deserved to win tbh. Not all my losses should’ve been losses. 2 a freeze off 1 hada quit bc my mom is very ill and she need my help. And the other one a true loss and the last one was a doosie. I really wanted to know bc it happens way to often. If it’s supposed to happen I won’t get mad bc I know that’s what’s happening and that no lead is safe and tell ppl not to quit bc this game will help them comeback no matter what. But if not I’m going to continue to express my displeasure with this game until they fix it or improve in it. They get payed for making a game I pay for and spend monkey on.

Thank you. Finally someone who can articulate something instead of being a troll and telling someone to get good and not choke.. the mlb community is so toxic. No one can be serious
