Stealing Glitch?

I ran into something strange the last few games and idk what is going on. I never stole in Ranked Games up to getting the Lofton card (never had anyone fast enough in my line up).
Everytime I try and steal a bag with him he likes runs in place have way to second and gets thrown out by a MILE. It’s happened three times in a row. Is it something I’m doing or is it the show just being the show? Lol

The pause in his running is due to your opponent using the meter for the catchers throw. Once the game knows how accurate the throw is, it uses the appropriate animation.
That being said, I don't steal much because I get thrown out way too often with players that have top tier speed / stealing attributes. I feel like catchers are throwing runners out at a higher rate this year.

Something is wrong ......Lofton gets thrown out way too much and generally runners as a whole the running is way off .........hit a ball in the gap with 50-60 speed and get thrown out by a mile this shouldn't happen

It’s really weird this year, 95 speed 99 steal Eric Davis gets caught 85% of the time but 65 speed 56 steal Robin Yount is successful 75% of the time.

most of the time it seems that they just get absolutely terrible jumps.....unless you do manual steals, which leaves you open to pick offs more often

Hell I’ve got Rickey 9/99 and he get caught all the time.

dont check swing on a steal....i noticed it happens bout 95% of the time if i check swing. mario run for 2 steps, out by 2 steps
