FOH! You people done lost your mind.

Are there any good reasons why we don't have stat missions in a freaking baseball game? I'm not sitting here watching my good input go for nothing in Moments. I'm done with these things.

    Pretty sure there was also

    14 packs
    3 choice packs
    10k in stubs
    15k xp

Thus program took no time to complete and gave a great payoff. This was a player program with WAY better reward then we have gotten in the past. The amount of effort need for this programs for the rewards you got was really kind of a joke in my view. Clearly SDS is caving to the "I don't want to have to actually play this game to get rewarded crowd"

Is Ramone holding a gun to your head forcing you to do it or something? Cause if not feel free to just not do it if the rewards not worth it to you.

Yeah. Cause I like playing real people who I can think along with. Not some Moment where before I even get to swing the bat I have to deal with half a dozen pickoff attempts.

Over the last few years too many complained about stat missions being locked into certain players or teams. So SDS tried doing PxP missions instead being locked into certain players & teams. And people still complain. Looks like TOO MANY doesn't want any kind of missions at all.

I myself see missions being a necessary way to earn reward cards. The better the rewards card, then the more difficult or challenging the missions should be.

HOWEVER ...... This year I feel the Rewards offered does NOT merit the grind for them.

I'd rather have to meet stat mission's online or offline. This 5-10 minutes of banging your head on the wall in Moments is for the birds. After all those good swings it's always the ugliest one that completes the Moment. Total waste of time and it's bad for the game

I don't get the complaints about the PXP missions this year. I finished all the big dog PXP missions in about 6 games. If these were stat missions like last year it would've probably been impossible to finish them all that quickly. It's also not like moments are a new things, again, feel free not to do the program.

6 full games? I really don't think PXP missions should be tied to cards you have to purchase.

Leagues, divisions, teams, positions. Plenty of stat options

    6 3 inning games.
Also the way they set up the rpograms you don't have to buy them, do the moments and showdowns to get the packs then stick the players in your lineup. If you haven't sold every extra card through the year you should already have some big dog pack players anyways.

Maybe just me but I did not find this set of moments that difficult heck I completed them in hand held mode on switch. The PXP mission which as just stat missions to me but better cause you are always progressing. I finished the pxp mission off in like 6 conquest games.

If your focus is online play and you want stat mission we have had that debate 2 years ago in MLB with prestige when it was all one stats and people would quit out mid homerun so that way we have pxp now. If you want to blame anyone for no stat mission it's the community an not SDS.

That makes a little more sense. Just seemed like a helluva lot for a 88 diamond.

You just got 5 diamonds for 8 Moments in the Topps Now

Moments one hour. Showdown one hour. Then basically you have to P4 a guy

    Seems like:

    -programs and less frequent

    • longer to complete
    • more rewards

    They’re going “quality” over “quantity”.

I think you are fixed on the player item to much like I mentioned before there was alot more you got from this program then just player items. If compared to the May POTM yeah you get 5 player items for 8 Moments but the packs and stubs don't even compare.

If you break it down the big dog program was pretty much equal to one TA 1 division program from last year. Minus 1 granuteed 88 overall card

Yeah some people couldn’t hit a homerun with Ken Griffey Jr so now we get to “play how we want” by doing thousands of moments and simulating tens of thousands of territories year after year.

Honestly I think they let go of who used to come up with the great content back in the day, they’ll live off this whole MLB coming up with the content for them and making moments throughout the season until people get bored of watching the AI pick off the other AI.

    I give it a MLB18/10

Exactly. At least you weren’t forced to do an exchange or beat the reds on AS.
