So what does everyone think of the Spring Cleaning Program cards?
-
So far I've really enjoyed that David Justice card surprisingly. I demolished with him in the Showdown and decided to give him a go in my actual lineup and I've been impressed; I just wish his speed was something higher than 45-49.
-
David Justice is a baller!
-
Still just starting to test out Ernie, he will need to be pretty impressive at that stacked position
-
Holding onto the second boss pack. If aseaver’s delivery ever gets fixed I’ll grab him…otherwise I’ll pick Justice for the sake of having another 2nd Half card for my collections.
-
I took Eddie and Banks. But I'm thinking of buying the other three.
-
I'm planning on taking Seaver and Britton when I hit the milestones in the program (haven't played much of late) and like I said in the original post, I bought David Justice and have been enjoying him quite a bit. He's got one of those "magic" swings, IMO.

What's wrong with his delivery? I haven't heard about this or been keeping up to date much.

Eddie is my favorite.

There are a couple of great pitchers who they gave generic deliveries to this year. They were quick to fix Randy, but Orel and Tom Terrific in particular look nothing like they should (or have in the past) so far.

The problem with those two specifically is that before last year(when they were switched to generic). They both legitimately had glitched deliveries(like Edward Cabrera last year). I would guess they haven't figured out how to make them true to form in a way that doesn't make them unnecessarily OP yet

If that is the case then SDS had no business presenting Seaver as a high value reward. Here’s generic pitcher 1 with a predictable repertoire and mediocre to decent stats.
Griffey’s swing is OP. Always has been. Was in real life as well. Stick a generic swing on his card and call it a reward? Won’t sell stubs, packs, etc. Seaver (may he RIP) deserves the same level of respect.
-
Britton is OP... spamming high sinkers 24/7

I knew there was something wrong with that Hershiser card!
-
I really miss Hershiser's old delivery, with turned back and hidden release point. I know people thought it was OP, but since last year he's pretty much been BP.
-
They are actually not bad. Justice, Britton and Banks should be good for a while unless you have the LS collections completed. Then they just dont stack up to some of those high diamond LS cards and the collection reward cards. I had Justice and Banks early and sold each for around 44k, put those those stubs toward the LS collection. I have since bought and sold Justice several times all for a profit. One of these times I will buy him and actually hold on to him.
