Directional vs Zone

Personally I use zone but I noticed a lot of people hate on directional even tho they know little to nothing about it. Got me thinking and I bet if someone that has never used directional played vs some one that never used zone that the people that never used zone before would win because zone is more pick up and play.

Say what?!? Directional is push a button. Zone is timing the pitch while also placing your PCI correctly. It doesn't come easy.

Agreed. Zone is the hardest mode, but the one that rewards good input most consistently.

Good troll post Tyler, but there is a lot of competition this year and this doesnt make even the top 20, sorry.

I would like to see a few players that fit the criteria put it to a test and see what happens.

You seem pretty intelligent, so let me ask you this age old question.
What kind of skill compensation does this game need when matching up gamers who are playing on 6.2 inch screens vs those playing on monitors and TV's?

Most of us understand completely how directional works. Hold pull side or opposite field, and Time up your swing. Perfect timing has an increased chance of the game putting perfect swing plane for you. It is not guarunteed even if you get perfect timing to get perfect swing plane. So you are at the mercy of RNG, and it can hurt players the same way it helps players. That being said, it provides less control, less skill based results and really does not belong in competetive modes suck as Ranked, Events or BR. Play vs CPU. Go ahead. Conquest, knock yourself out. Play vs friend. You do you. It doesn't belong in competetive modes.

I agree when I started back in 17 I went straight to zone then when i tried directional it was bad.
