Here are the current Glitches/issues with the Stadium Creator 22’. Can SDS at least acknowledge the issue? Feeling completely ignored.

The stadium creator is such a cool feature but we’ve gone several steps backwards this year from last year, and here are the current issues with it. I have not seen any acknowledgement of said issues from SDS, so I don’t even know if they’re aware, but it would be nice to know that they’re being worked on.

    • Issues with save files being lost. The game will automatically delete your custom stadium, and replace your stadium automatically with a “template” stadium. This happens randomly and is by far the biggest issue. I lost 30 hours of work on a stadium just for it to be replaced randomly by a template stadium. All my back-up save files were also replaced. It seems to happen most frequently when the memory file are at 75% or more.

    • The wall/backstop behind home plate defaults to the max height when loading in game. What typically is a 2-3 foot wall, automatically loads as like a 20 foot backstop, completely ruining the aesthetics of a custom stadium for half the game.

    • Wall prop issues. Every time you select the “outfield wall,” all wall props shift to the left by one “slot.” Also some time in the last week or so, the wall props button doesn’t appear anymore.

Those are the big mode-breaking issues, but some other wishlist items for me include the following:

    • Improved Vault. The vault still behaves strangely with no real community features. Take a look at the “course designer” in PGA 2K21. It’s a full community based system, with the ability to rate other courses, search by categories, most downloaded, etc. Entire sub-communities have been created based on this (TGC tours). The stadium creator has this exact same potential if the infrastructure was improved.

    • Non-Outfield dimension modifications. The game needs the ability for us to modify the non-outfield walls, or at least the ability to select from other foul territory options. I know this has something to do with bullpens, so even if we had to select from default bullpen options that had to be “placed”, then at least we could create much different fields.

    • More props/materials. There were no real additions with props this year. Having more to choose from would be nice, or at least more concourse materials to choose from.

I would pay $70 just for a fleshed out stadium creator, and I really really want these issues at least addressed so stadiums work as well as they did in 21, but ideally, improved upon eventually. Right now I literally can’t make stadiums out of fear of losing my hard work. That’s a HUGE problem.

I hope SDS sees this, because the potential here is absolutely phenomenal and right now it feels like a “set it and forget it” game mode that took a ton of steps backwards, after such a promising start in 21!

My stadium defaulted to party field yesterday after spending around 30 hours perfecting every little detail on it.

It’s absolutely deflating- it would be good to know that the issue is at least being worked on, yet there’s nothing. I was first upset about the lack of updates from last year, and even worse, we got a completely broken game mode.

Another thing is there are no birds chirping at stadiums with zero fans anymore. This sound effect was there at launch but has since disappeared. I like to create stadiums in forests with no fans and listen to the birds while I play. It’s quite soothing on my anxiety, REALLY hope they fix this.

I don't understand why we're forced to use a really poor take on jewelbox style stadiums. Maybe I want a concrete donut template? Or a multi-purpose template...or maybe I want to make a stadium that doesnt have foul territory that makes Oakland Alameda go "that's too much". Being able to move the non outfield fences AND put the bullpens behind the outfield would be a big step forward.

...and also having the home plate template that actually fits the circumference of the field...
