Last year Team Infinty Programs were much better & worth the grind. Yes they were all "no sell" cards, however your were able to get the entire set of 5 from each division if you grinded out the XP for it.

Dude its all good they're in fact free cards and you can sell the choice pack cards - my concern is the low price of the WS reward cards. Better days are ahead with better content.

The original 3 world series rewards were pretty low last year at this time too, So I don't necessarily think that is a concern. I bought all 3 of sandberg, Fielder, and whoever the other one was for around 30k last year

MLBTS22 is looking more like 18 & 17 in that regards with the grind itself not worth the rewards. 19, 20 & even more so with 21, the rewards were great for the grind needed. I love playing Baseball video games & will play hours on end regardless. However whats the point to grind out a program if it's rewards are not appealing enough or valued well enough. I rather spend more time with offline modes like RRTS, MTO & Franchise. DD will only appeal to me & motivate me if the reward content is lucrative enough so that I dont have to bother flipping cards or buying stubs for me to have a competitive team to use in Ranked, Events & Mini. I do not mind the grind as long as the reward cards seem woth the time.

You are so closed minded & one sighted. Regardless of all the reward cards given last year. There were still many cards better that could only be won by going 12-0 BR or WS in Ranked or in HOF/Legend level Events. Cards that many could never get unless purchased in the market for 500K plus. However the reward cards given last year still let me have a team decent enough to hold my own against players who had a squad of those BR & WS cards. Thats my point. Get it now ?????

These cards are going for 10-20k max atm. As I pointed out weeks ago, the ones no one chose of their own accord are now the most expensive (Murphy) while the best cards (Reynolds) are the cheapest. Buy what you want to field the team you want. Play baseball (9 or 3 inning games) instead of sitting in the BS Showdown mode to assemble your god squad.
I miss free packs and stubs as much as the next guy, but a little luck and some strategic selections have gotten my squad where I want it to be 3 weeks in.
At least we’re not being forced to play the market for digital hats anymore.

I think the breakdown here is that some of us DO want to work to earn the cards but by taking away TA, they have taken a huge chunk of content for us to play. Yes, there were people who cheesed their way through the program without any effort using the exchanges and showdown repeats. I simply don't understand that methodology. To me, that's like buying an album and only listening to the chorus'. Or buying a movie and only watching the last 15 minutes. Why pay all this money for a game you love only to skip all the content.
I understand why SDS changed their format but it's really effecting offline players ability to play. Say what you will that there is just as much content this year but that is simply not true if you took the time to play through each reward path in TA. I have maxed the program, finished everything but mini seasons which I won't play until I know it's fixed. And we are 3 weeks into the game. Last year it took me 3 months to catch up on all the content released in the first few weeks and I played more often than I have this year.
At the end of the day, I don't care what anyone else does to earn their team. I don't care if you exploit, spend money, burn through every program by skipping all the missions and just doing exchanges, to me, that's your loss. I'm not playing against anyone but myself. I do think this program is solid and I'm happy to play the game as much as possible, make the TA program reward path 500 points long with no exchanges. If you want us to play the game....give us more game to play, or at least fix the things you did give us.

There is 50% less content and TA has lost its original purpose. Last year there was always something work towards and content to tackle. This year i finished everything in a week. They have moved the game very much towards, pay to win. In fact, ive never seen the game with so many cards there is no possible way to earn. They never would have put out FotF cards for every team but only gave you the ability to earn, less than half of them...in the past. PLUS - i swear you get less stubs for playing - i dont remember walking away with so few after a game or an afternoon of playing.
The game is much more Madden, then the baseball simulation i fell in love with 5 years ago. I dont remember players warping to get into catch animations so often, either.
Lack of content is just one of the serious problems i have with this years game....

You have two choices if you want these cards.

Start playing Day 1 and earn them with the 'long grind'.

Wait until they have Double XP, which is usually a week before the program ends, and play then. You'll get it done in half the time.
Now you may say; what do I do for the three previous weeks? Well, if you're worried about not playing for three weeks; then you choose Option 1.

To answer your first part: they rushed to get it down so they could be the first to get the new shiny toy and gave their name in 'lights' like it's a badge of honour.
Then the same people [censored] and moan that there's nothing to grind for or that the XP their earning now doesn't carry over/count.

@cdnmoneymaker93_NSW I totally get what you're saying but what about those of us who want to grind and earn our cards? This was definitely an overcorrection.
I must be in the minority, I am not even remotely concerned that I won't field a good team. I will collect every flashback and Legend this year just like last (especially since there's no Alomar) I'm just gonna have to repeat a ton of content to do it.
I don't think SDS robbed us. There should be a happy medium though. Last year WAS overkill and truthfully who knows what is in store this year? Thus far, the content has been light but the cards have been great. I can't say I'm not having fun and as soon as Mini Seasons is fixed (if it's fixed) that'll open up a huge chunk of the game and if it's reliable, it'll be fun to repeat with different teams on different difficulties.

Once again you just showing how closed minded & oneway sighteted you are. I did work hard to earn all the cards I was able to get. I spent lots of time & effort to grind out programs to let me put up a decent team able to compeat against teams that were clearly better & stronger due to cards they had from BR 12 wins & WS ranked. However "so far" I dont see it being possible to earn cards good enough to make a team to play against those who have already earned those top premier cards released so far. I am not asking, wishing or demanding SDS to provide top premier cards to anyone who has not earned them. But I am asking SDS to follow suit with 19, 20 & especially 21 with how everyone could atleast get cards good enough to compete at a decent level against teams with stronger cards.. The last 3 years of MLBTS was very good with that. I was not good enough to earn my way to get Billy Wagner in BR, but atleast was able to earn Chapman, Franco or Hand as my top lefty reliever. That is my point. Or do I need to explian it in an other language or even more broken down like if you are a 5 year old child ?????

Last year the team affinity cards outclassed all the WS and BR cards anyway. You would think they could just put worse cards in there but that would have far more outrage than just getting rid of it.
