You’re just used to playing at Shippett and don’t realize that they changed the elevation. So the “extra boost” you received in your hitting which turned these “non-stop nerfed line outs” into home runs, is gone.

Hitting didn’t change, you just lost your advantage.

Honestly, if anything, I still think hitting is too easy. I’ve given up more runs this year than last year, easily. Part of that is the magnetic pitches down the middle, giving me PTSD of MLB 20.

It’s not great but it isn’t as bad as y’all say it is.

If you don’t enjoy the game, don’t play. Accept that you bought something you don’t like and move on. Not the end of the world.

Very good points but if those magnetic pitches down the middle are giving you PTSD. The average professional would tell you simply, dont play.

Accept that you bought something you dont like and move on. Not the end of the world.

Agreed. I also think though that this is just the nature of the forum in general every year. Lose a game and create a thread about how much worse the game is than last year. Usually the same people creating the same post year after year.

Hitting has lost all hope, half my hrs don't touch the zone and 80% of my perfects go right to people. It is just as bad as last year, last good hitting was prolly 17 and besides just late be great (which was the only bad thing) it has gone downhill since. They need to make hr/9 and bb/9 matter more online too. Closers are better than any starting pitcher because they have high hit and k/9. Also need to throw in pulled off grounders are hits more than liners. User input has taken the backseat. I just won an event game bc of a 10 pitch ab where I should have whiffed 5 of the pitches in the dirt, and won off drinking the ball on a jam shot. He was passing on the ball to my outfielders
