Recycled cards

Based on the app leaking the Jackie program today it reminds me of this issue. Why so many repeat cards? We've seen this same 88 Jackie card every year.
The same cards popping up year over year is wearing out as fast as the runner on second staying quiet as to not affect the hitter.

It's a tough one, on one hand it does get a bit stale seeing the same cards each year. On the other hand look how upset some of us get when certain cards are removed. I miss Ty Cobb and Roger Hornsby. Wish there was just a way to find a better balance

I get what you are saying, but a change of card art is about all they could do. Thats the only season that Jackie had that would give him an overall in that range. And with those they probably only have access to certain Topps card arts and they only make their own card art for Milestones, signature, awards, the current years postseason, finest, FOTF, and the current year allstar cards

Respectfully disagree, there's plenty of ways to make a Jackie card at that overall. They gave him a random 88 overall 42 series card last year. Make it a new cool fake card like the 42 series last year. Make it a second half hero card.
They have plenty of options that don't include rolling the same ish out.

Have you seen mid-50's Topps cards? They're doing the best with what they have to work with.
