Why will they not fix this ball directly in pci and it’s okay contact happens soooo much but you can barely touch the ball with pci and hit it harder for a base hit

this game is geared to help casuals play. It's obvious. There are way more casuals in the world than competitive players.

I get plenty of perfectly squared up on the dots pci placement with good okay contact results so stop this excuse. True I get more good okay contact on perfect pci placement on off speed pitches on the outside part of the plate but the ball is still in the strike zone but the ball should still be smacked bc it is a perfectly squared up off speed pitch in the zone

They need to fully take out RNG from the game and only based it on user input. perfect perfect shoots be hits 100% of the time imo.

Yeah after reading this earlier it made some more sense to me. They could still do a touch better, but I'm happy with the direction, and think they'll get it right. Very soon. My real opinion is still there is minor work with the timing windows (that's the real issue). I don't mean too fast, too slow, either, but why people are feeling jipped and not rewarded enough. So if you look at the batter analysis afterwards. Most of these good/squared or good/good or even good/okays, that look like they should be bombs, but end up being outs, the timing says just early or just late. That's where they gotta figure it out because something isn't adding up with the batter analysis and the PCI feedback.

Sorry for the long read btw. That's just something I thought most people might not be catching.

    That makes sense but
    A) WHY CANT SDS EXPLAIN THIS TO US BEFORE RELEASE

    B) the exit velocites and the timing windows are still wildly inconsistent

Off speed pitches barely in the strike zone low and inside get absolutely destroyed but those same pitches low and outside get the most good okay on good pci placement which has been this way the last few years. Even McGunski asked for confirmation from sds if low and away off speed pitches in the zone just don’t get good exit velo no matter what bc you might as well just not ever swing due to the result.
