Wtf is programming forces u to walk#7 hitter
-
Even if this stuff was coded in(which it's not) it wouldn't have anything to do with RNG. Do you know what RNG is?

Up 3 in the bottom of the 9th. I get two quick outs then the programming forces me to walk the #7 hitter. I strike out the #8 hitter with a ball in the dirt, but instead of picking the ball up the catcher just stands there with the ball at his feet.
Now the pitcher spot is up and a pinch hitter is called. Carson Kelly hits the first pitch for a 3 run bomb to tie the game in the top of the 9th.
Everyday we strike people out and our catchers immediately pick up the ball and throw to the bag. Had I overthrown 1st base with the catcher that would've been different, but my catcher stood there like an idiot just looking at the all until the man reached based safely.
I don't want to hear about "that's baseball" because it's not. There was a time when your outfielders would slow down while running for a ball in the gap just to allow an extra base. Now they just run to the ball and act like it's on fire and don't want to pick it up. This stuff has to go.
This is common

This has been common in every iteration since I picked The Show back up 3 years ago. Players sometimes freeze and then throw to the wrong base, players will be lax and not respond to my throwing commands quickly enough when a fast baserunner is sprinting, etc.
There is simply no excuse for this kind of thing to never be fixed.

You sound ridiculous. My player literally refused to pick up the ball and make the final out, so the game could be extended. It's called manufactured drama. You gotta be braindead to think a game with micro transactions doesn't have RNG.

That's when a fresh pitcher is trying to throw strikes but he can't get them over the plate even when trying to.

That's called playing on the Internet. Sucks when it happens, but has nothing to do with code, or it would be prevalent both on and offline.

Actually sir you sound ridiculous thinking a random number generator has anything to do with your fielders animations. I never said it there is no RNG, I said what you are describing has nothing to do with RNG. Big difference. Maybe learn to read before calling someone else ridiculous

No. The catcher was acting as if he couldn't find it. It wasn't a frame rate or sync issue.

I mixed up RNG with DDA. I'm not going to argue with you. Just answer me why this happened if it wasn't the programming intervening in our game. What made my catcher do that in that situation?

That sounds EXACTLY like what it is.

I didn't see it so I can't say for sure. Most likely lag or something similar. As someone else stated, these things never happen offline so it's clearly not something coded Into the game

It doesnt sound like you know what a random number generator is. Everything is Random. What you are describing sounds like you think the developers, despite there inabilities to do a lot more basic stuff, coded in something to make him just stare at the ball, and make you walk someone, to set up a 3 run HR. That doesnt sound random at all.
Ok, I see you corrected yourself as I was typing this. That happens a lot on this forum though. People gripe about something and mis speak the whole time and you cannot take them too serious lol.

Almost every problem this game has online are framerate and sync issues. Ask @D_e_m_I_s_E_PSN
