There should be 1 player, a high overall player, he should be comparable to the LS collection rewards, but he should cost exchange points. Say 5 million exchange points for 99 ovr Mantle.

Collections are still better because you get to keep everything instead of throwing them away. I don’t know why they don’t have one at the start they must really want everyone to have to buy it all back later.
The best part of exchanges is you can now use the other teams from your division which is much more satisfying. Nothing more useful for an Astros player.

Exchanging is an EA thing. You want a high overall player you have to exchange 10 golds and 10 gold collectibles. One of the things I've always hated about the EA ultimate teams is they always try to find ways to gwt you to get rid of your cards. If you want to get the team collection for a player, you lose every card for that team or in NHL you lose 20 misc cards, not sure if football does it too.
I would rather we stay away from any exchanges like that and stick with collecting

There are already exchanges in the show. This would just be another one. I agree with what you said about madden, but this would be different. In madden they make you grind just to get the cards that have no purpose other than to be exchanged. This would be just another thing to use the 100k commons you aquire throughout the year. It would only make the market better.

Personally no, I do not like this idea at all. I don't think it would help the market at all, if anything it would probably hurt flipping and cause even common prices to go up. It's just my opinion but I don't like this idea at all

There is an exchange yes but they stop at gold I think if I remeber right anyways so they don't allow you to get diamonds.
I dislike the exchanges, always have. I guess think of it this way, sell the players you don't want and buy the player you are looking to get. Basically that's an exchange.

You ever heard of superman 64? MLB 18 was the superman 64 of sports games, and immortals were only a small fraction of the problem.

Exchanges for diamonds would destabilize the whole MLB economy. I know "destabilizing" things is quite attractive in theory, especially to young people, but the results would be far worse than what we have right now (which is pretty good, all things considered).

I still live with the shame of sitting for hours in my living room working the market for digital Braves hats…not to mention grinding for a double with Joe Torre. Seriously the worst iteration of this game.
