I think for a lot of people, if targeting completing the LS collection, buying trout as early as you can supports that goal. As noted, likely be best CF for a while.
If you’re not interested in completing collection, then probably find other areas to make upgrades for your team.

It’s been said but he’s the best card in the game and that includes those terrible collection rewards. So if you want the best card and the main gatekeeper then answer is yes.

I’m NMS and it’s the first card I go for every year. He will be over 500k in a few weeks.
So far I’ve got the AL West competed. (Michael Young has been surprisingly amazing.) Should have the AL East finished in the next few days.
