Too much emphasis on buying cards to get program upgrades
-
First, I'm a big fan of this game. I've played it for many years now. Preface to what I'm about to say.
I really like the expanded programs this year. But why all the need to buy cards to get players only for the use of exchanging them to get program upgrades? And so early in the game before anyone's really had a chance to get a lot of cards? Obviously, the idea here is to buy cards. But couldn't the exchanges been a little easier ( and less than 150,000 points) or been a little later when we at least have some cards to lose? I really don't have many spare cards right now. Not enough to do a bunch of exchanges (even one, to be honest), but couldn't the timing have been a little better, SDS?

exchanges are just an option, programs can be completed without doing them

I know that. But without them, it seems to me you're really stuck without a chance of making it through a program that has a time limit. It wouldn't be such a problem if the program has no limit but Faces of the Franchise does. And I would like to get some of those cards before 20 or so days are out when it ends.

While the exchanges are a bit high, especially since we don’t have an abundance of cards at the moment, they continually add content towards the program. I mean I’m at like 210k and I can only really play at night.

And I'm looking forward to the new content. And yeah, maybe that'll help. But putting the players at such a disadvantage takes away some of the fun. Admittedly, I didn't buy the game last year until July with the first big price drop and it was easier then than it is now. I wasn't expecting it to be as easy (easier) as it was then. Oh well. I guess I know what I'll be doing. (Staying away from Lawn Mowing Simulator. Yes, I bought that.)

Honestly I don’t know what will come but I know we had the same kind of reaction threads about where’s the content or the content we have isn’t worth as much towards the program. And it all ended up being fine. I was routinely finishing entire programs which I never really did before.

Yeah, last year ended up pretty good for me as well. I finished everything in the final program that I wanted to, though I didn't get all the way to the end. I still could if I stayed with it, I suppose.
Well, I'll just sit tight and follow the bouncing ball. Thanks.
