hitting today feels amazing, I am getting rewarded for pci square up - even though I lost my first game 5-4 I felt like I hit the ball wayyy better
Complete placebo effect. SDS has said in the past that any patches released will have full disclosure on what was fixed. Hitting and pitching were not touched today.

Patch evolved more around baserunning and tag out issues which was definitely helpful.
Leave the gameplay for hitting and pitching the way it is. Especially, the pitching is good right now. There still may be some pitches that miss their spots, but it's not overwhelming as previous, and overall pitch accuracy and responsiveness feels good.
Yes, but thank you SDS for acknowledging and addressing some of these issues.
Lol
MLB 20 Update 1.06 Patch Notes
In-Game:
– Fixed a rare occurrence where deep hit balls could bounce under and through the OF wall, resulting in a ground rule double. We also fixed one occurrence where the ball could pass through the HR wall on the fly.
– Fixed a specific situation where the baserunner would go into base standing, when he needed to be urgently sliding.
– Slightly expanded the radius that a defender can successfully tag out a baserunner when they collide in the base path during rundowns or instances when the defender is going into a throw animation, while the baserunner is passing through him.
– Increased the ability of the pitcher to successfully tag out runners at home plate, when the pitcher has to cover home plate following a wild pitch or passed ball.
– Lead Runner Window will no longer display if the fielder or runner settings are set to “Auto”.Why LOL?

You meant to say that you added the last line to the patch notes.

I find the naysayers comical, lmao. It wasn’t the patch, but something has improved in the gaming experience for me. That being that I can now actually hit the swing button and the swing is fluid, and results are more akin to what they were on early release. Where as the last two weeks this game has been wonky and unplayable even though I was 14-2 in RS. Today gameplay felt great and I was 1-2 in RS. Whether this is my connection or something else I don’t know, but it is very coincidental. I have been very critical of the gameplay lately, but if yours has been like mine was this morning, I can see why you would not be complaining. Further, I don’t think you would have a reason to gripe. You just have to accept that people are having different experiences which I can clearly see is the difference since mine completely changed.

– Forgot to add filter for butthurt losers with no sense of humor that will get mad when somebody is a bit snarky in response to them pretending something changed when it clearly has not...then they'll lose they're [censored] minds. -
I'm not mad or snarky as you put it. And if you want to be humorous, by all means, just don't accuse me of something I didn't do and leave my name out of it is all I'm saying.

What's that over your head?

I think so, my bad...disregard lol.

They also said they fixed the glitch where the homerun manner stayed on the screen in the first patch... lol nope
